girl or young woman under 25 years of age* who identifies as immigrant?
Would you
like to share some of your challenges and successes with other girls and young
women?
Girls Action Foundation needs you! We would like to invite you to share
your experiences as an immigrant young woman by contributing to our new Zine.
We hope that this Zine will give voice not only to the challenges and
issues face by young immigrant women but also allow them to celebrate their
successes and achievements.
Sharing your experiences and stories will inspire other girls and young
women across the country!
What is a zine?
A zine is a small, independant magazine. It can be about any subject
that matters to you! Unlike all the popular magazines, a zine allows you to express
your own realities with your own words, and share your message with other
people.

What do I have to do to
contribute to this zine?
Call us or send us an e-mail to share your interest in being a
contributor to the zine or for any other information. You can submit texts,
poems, collages, pictures, comic strips, or choose any medium that you’d like
to best share your story. In your e-mail, please tell us what you would like to
talk about, language of preference, your age and the medium that you would like
to use.
